Fabulous Feminine Friday

Good Morning! It is a fabulously feminine Friday. We had a cold front move in last night, so, today is not supposed to get out of the 60's.  It is going to be nice for one day, then it will warm back up into the 70's and 80's. I LOVE Florida!  Any way to the outfit. This skirt is a New Creation skirt and the blouse is a consignment shop find. You can't really see the necklace, but I got it at least 12 years ago at a yard sale for .50 cents.  I haven't forgotten the price because it is a 1950's glass beaded necklace in mint condition. I know these are not over the top expensive, but .50 cents is a steal...
This outfit is completely thrift store, minus the shoes. The skirt is an Old Navy, and it is that super soft and comfortable t-shirt material. Being that I am a winter in the color chart, these colors are some of the better colors for my complexion. I love trying to buy "my" colors, it really does make a difference in how I look. Although I am a winter I really love spring colors. Isn't that just like human nature to want what we are not? I don't completely dress in my colors, but I try. My decor is mostly spring, though.
Yesterday, my daughter and I went on a little junking expedition.  I came across this vintage, handmade, mohair bear. And he is pink! I fell in love with this little guy. So now he is added to my collections.
I also found this breakfast tray at Goodwill for 4.99. It is in really good condition, so I brought it home. Maybe I will serve someone breakfast in bed.
My daughter got these two really beautiful finds. She has been collecting things for her room, as well as her some day home of her own. She really likes the shabby chic, muted colors. I will show you her room in a future post.
I hope today you have a fabulous day!  May you be a shining example of femininity to your children today and every day.

  1. Beautiful outfits, Amy Jo. I get all of my clothes from thrift stores, too. :)
