Christmas 2016

Hello!!! How have you been? I've missed you. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. I can hardly believe 2016 is almost over.... Christmas was a whirlwind.

I continued to add decor until Christmas Eve.

Of course mostly pink.

A favorite vintage Christmas card.

My kitchen is my favorite thing

This was right before present opening! I got some beautiful things this year, a bath set and salt crystal lamp from my sister... a book and sound bar from my in-laws. A gift card from my brother in law.

These hilarious slippers from my daughter

These salt and pepper shakers from my mom. This pic is from Instagram, for some reason it didn't save to my camera roll. My wonderful husband got me....

This cutie!!! She can't come home until January sometime. So all I have is this picture. I'm naming her Maybelline. I can't wait to get her! She's a red teddy bear poodle. So I am counting the days until January. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! And that you got to spend time with family and friends. We had a great time and I'm now anticipating a wonderful new year blessed from above.

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

Welcome to the cottage....

It's time to sparkle and shine...

Michaels has a lot of pink Christmas this year. This little Putz house was there.  Along with tons of other beautiful things.

 Like this little tree.

And More sparkle

And what is Christmas without gingerbread people? (These are not from Michaels)  I'm slowly getting ready... My husband has no idea where my Christmas Decorations are!  I have a small box that I didn't like to store in the attic but other than that we are not sure where the rest are. Hopefully he will find them.
I hope your having fun decorating and shopping for your loved ones.

XOXO

The Fancy Flea

This weekend was the Fancy Flea in Plant City. It was a perfect day. Not to hot with a slight breeze.
I fell in love with this table, but I didn't buy it...

I thought this was really fun, but I didn't get it either....

So what did I get? I got this beautiful sign. I'm hanging it on the porch.

I got these two little dogs.... Little things get me every time.

And this lovely cow painting on the left.... It's from Kimberly Ryan ... Formerly Paris Rags. That was it!  This weekend I'm heading to the Fancy Flea in Madison Florida. My husband will be hunting and fishing and so will I just for different things.

The Guest Room

Here's a little peak into the guest room... But it changes daily. I'm constantly changing and moving things about.

I changed the lamp and added the birds.  I need to get a longer bed skirt but haven't yet. Maybe I'll make one.

The guest clock

These vintage hound dogs are so cute to me.

Thanks for stopping by...

Settling In

We are starting to settle into our new home. It has not been a bad adjustment. My husband has worked so hard!! He really did a great job!! He laid the wood floors. They are Cali Bamboo. This is the cottage  living room.

We didn't buy any new furniture. We were out of funds by the end of the project. So we had to use what we already had. It's quite comfortable. We love spending time in here.

The master bedroom is a lot smaller than our last bedroom. We were really worried about it being to small but everything fit. It's just a little cozier.

The chair I recovered still squeezed into the room.

The guest room is slowly coming along. I'm absolutely loving it! The bed is an old iron bed from the 1800's. I used Shabby Chic bedding and and old handmade quilt.

Pillows made from vintage chenille finish it off. My little lambie pie loves her new room. I will share more soon.

Have a Blessed Day
