Recent Treasures

I haven't been doing a ton of treasure hunting lately.... The things in my booth have been selling quickly and I need to restock. I actually found these treasures several weeks ago.  I painted this white and put it in my booth.

I painted both of the trays and the scoop. They turned out very pretty. I filled the scoop with shells.

I found  a huge amount of beautiful shells at goodwill. I only bought half of them and I am sorry about that.

I love this magazine rack.... I painted it white and it is destined for Chantilly.

These Ice skates were at Good will and I think they will look good painted and maybe add a water slide decal....at Christmas time.

This is a keeper. I don't know where it is going but I love it!

This is already hanging at my parents cottage.... some finds you have to share with family :)

I found an ugly sign at goodwill and I painted over it and stenciled it. It is now in my booth. I have a lot more to show you all.
 I am in the middle of a very busy time in my family. My favorite Uncle is in ICU in a very bad condition. He is only 53 but he may not make it.... I would covet your prayers for him.... and the family.

A Day of Beauty

Over the weekend my husband and I went away BY OURSELVES!  We did a lot of driving in North Florida and acted like we were retired LOL. Along the way there was tons of wildflowers. I decided to stop and take some photos.

When I got out of the car along came a whole pack of mules running to me. They were so cute. I wish I had an apple or two...but I had nothing.



The wildflowers were stunning. These pics do not show all of the beautiful colors we saw.

As we left I felt bad. I think they were disappointed..... I know I have been MIA lately. We have been soooo busy. I am now working on some things for my booth. They called and said all of your stuff sold out again this week. It is a good problem to have. I am just overwhelmed with things to do at this time....so it has become a juggling act. I will show some of my finds tomorrow. I hope you are all well.  I have missed visiting you all.

Life's A Beach

Today we decided to go to the beach. My sister and her family met us there. It was absolutely beautiful.

My husband and son.

The boys threw the football...

And had relaxation time....

Time swimming and boogie boarding.

My sister and I took a long walk down the beach.... Isn't this jelly fish beautiful? The blue color was so unusual.

This little guy posed for a picture.... he started to walk away and then turned around and stood still while I took his photo... It was like he knew he was good looking and should be a little star. LOL. I am so happy summer is here. (at least here in Florida) It always starts in April. I told my husband I am so happy I was born a Florida girl. I can't imagine life any where else....

Mr. Bubble Bath

Handmade Tags for Chantilly

Hello girls, I hope everyone is well....we have been hit with one illness or another lately. I am now battling a cold/ sinus problem. I can't wait to be well again! Even so I am still up and going. When we went to the Fancy Flea I noticed everyone had cute  tags on their merchandise. So it gave me a little inspiration....




This is the tag off of the pillow I bought. I know some people make them using the computer but I am not that savvy. So I did very simple hand stamped tags.




I went to Joanne's and bought some stamps for 50% off. (This week)  

 

I love how they turned out.

 

They look darling on the products.

And they were super simple to make.

 

 

And a lot of fun.... I just thought I would share the idea....

My Booth "Chantilly"

Hi everyone....I hope you are all well. I have had some people ask me about my booth and how it is going, so I thought I would give a little update. Here is a few pics I snapped with my husbands phone today.



They are not the best quality.... The dresser and chandelier from the first month have all sold. All that you see now have been recently added.



I love this dresser I recently refinished. It is made out of old cracker barrels.

I have had no luck selling pictures or paintings....empty frames sell best. I am still learning what sells and what doesn't. Sometimes I put something in and the next day it is gone, other items have been in since the beginning. I love getting in the booth and rearranging. It is like playing house. I am hoping to add some handmade things this month....and see how they sell. So far my furniture has been the biggest hit.....Blessings to you all on this wonderful spring day!

"Tutti Chic" and a Give Away!!!!!

Today I woke at 5:10 AM with anticipation in my  heart! It was time for the Fancy Flea... Valerie came to my house and then we went to my sister's and picked up her and my Mom. Isn't this flea market cart the cutest? Inspiration for one I am about to do..... You remember mine from back HERE.

It was so crowded you could hardly squeeze in a booth.

I love this porch railing with the added detail.

Vintage Junque

 Blue Betty had her Glamper.

It was so darling....with little polka dot curtains.

Perfect for two, no more than that!

I thought this was the coolest idea for a boys room. Take an old truck tail gate and make it into a headboard.....Redneck chic lol....

I bought this pillow..... I thought it was so pretty

It even has a handle for easy traveling haha!

So beautiful!!

I bought these 1950's salt and pepper shakers...I love the man the girl not so much.

Vintage clip on earrings for $3.00.  I picked up some other things but they are going to be used for someone so I can't show them to you ;). ...because they will see.... Now for the Give Away!!!

It is a beautiful long necklace with a vintage skeleton key, a chandelier crystal, and other bling.... I bought two of these one to keep and one to share! 

The lady that makes these was so busy... I had to wait in line for about 30 minutes.... She also made the pillow..... So if you would like to have this chic necklace all you have to do is be a follower and leave a comment on this post..... Some Great Good Will Finds

While out at Goodwill this week I came across a couple of good finds. I got this picture frame for $2.99 and this little square table cloth for $1.99.

I got three of these pillowcases the size of a body pillow, for $1.99 each. I plan on using them for aprons.



This is a very pretty skirt I picked up for a great price...it appears to have never been worn.

This is a tree skirt!

 

I got it for $2.99. I thought it was unusual and so much prettier than the one I have. Mine was just a fill in until I could find one I like better. Mission accomplished.

 

We are all better now and tomorrow a whole group of us girls are going to the Fancy Flea!!! I can't wait.... I am hoping to find a little prize so that I can have a give away.;)  So until then.....wish me luck!
