Catching Up

We bought Disney passes in 2019.   But they have been such a disappointment. They no longer put any limit on the number of people that enter the park every day. And let me tell you, It’s CROWDED!! Some days  it’s 2.5 hours to wait on one ride. We have only ridden a few rides the entire time we’ve had the passes.

We have seen a couple of shows in a years time... it’s know longer the happiest place... it’s the most frustrating. We feel like it was a total waste   of money.

Thank

This was Epcot. It was so hot this day. And very crowded.

I’m hoping to get a few more visits in before our passes expire. As we will never repurchase them. We will stick to watching the movies.

Levi went on his first flight

All the way to...

Washington DC! He went with his school and had a great time.

It was a great experience for him.

He decided not to go on the school trip to New York City this year. It was his decision as we left it up to him.

Levi is in his Jr year of high school... so only one more year left.

It will take several posts to document last year... until next time.

South Carolina Plantation Wedding

We went to South Carolina for my husband's cousins wedding. It was held at a plantation. It was very pretty. Although it rained buckets almost the entire time.
They had to put up a tent so I couldn't get a good picture of the front of the home. It was built in 1875.

We all wore yellow. All these pictures were taken with my iPhone so the quality isn't that great. Since it was raining so much nobody could look amazing.

The happy couple.

Cake cutting time. They had their own little cake and then served tiny cupcakes to the guests. They had lemon, lime, strawberry, and grapefruit flavors. I had lemon and it was good.

A view from the upstairs porch.

Then it was church on Sunday morning....

And this was  my pink skirt I wore. I got this from Paris Rags.  And I paired it with pink pearls.  This weekend my sister and I are off to Georgia. We are going to spend time with my nephew. I'm so ready for Spring Break.

I'll take lots of pictures to share with you soon.

Blessings,
Amy Jo

The turkey was super moist and delicious. It looks like the pilgrims want to eat NOW.

Always time for fish tales.

Some Updates....and I Know it Has Been a While!

Oh my it has been a while!!! I have missed you all! We have been extremely busy here. Summer was a bluster of travel and a whirl wind of activity. Then it was time for school and then the activity of driving back and forth. We have had company and events and it feels as if we just can't stop! But today I just set the time aside to blog a little. Now all of my pics wouldn't load. So we will make due with these until next time. I wanted to show you a few things I did at the little vacation house... This is in the bathroom.

My friend Heather got me this for my birthday back in June.

The curtains are hung. I just love the pink touches.

This is the painting I bought for my antique booth. It never did sell and I loved it. So it is now in the bathroom.

I picked up this little picture at an antique mall for $3.00. I thought it was cute.

In the living room I added a few touches.  It still has some work but it is coming along.

We have had such good times here already. We love visiting and honestly the simplicity just adds to the relaxation factor. Sooo what have all of you been up to? I think I will do some blog hopping and find out. Something I haven't done in ages. So good to be back!!

XOXO,
Amy Jo

I'm Back....

We are back from North Carolina and have been busier than ever... I will tell you all about it later.

It was nice to visit Savanah and Kevin and see the area where they are living. They have a really nice house in a gated community.

We went to all of the area sites and also fit in some antiqueing along the way. Yay me!

This lake was very pretty.

Our family together again for a brief weekend. Frank only stayed two days and flew back home.

A little put-put.

Let's just say this is me being dramatic... I got a whole in one. Which was a total fluke... I am not good at this game. Not to mention it was 98 degrees outside so we were all very hot.

Bentley was so happy to see us.... He went home with Savanah a month prior and he was definitely missing us. We were so glad to see him too. He is so cute and sweet. I'll show you my treasures and some other things I have been up to soon.

xoxo,
Amy Jo
