We went to South Carolina for my husband's cousins wedding. It was held at a plantation. It was very pretty. Although it rained buckets almost the entire time. |
They had to put up a tent so I couldn't get a good picture of the front of the home. It was built in 1875. |
We all wore yellow. All these pictures were taken with my iPhone so the quality isn't that great. Since it was raining so much nobody could look amazing. |
The happy couple. |
Cake cutting time. They had their own little cake and then served tiny cupcakes to the guests. They had lemon, lime, strawberry, and grapefruit flavors. I had lemon and it was good. |
A view from the upstairs porch. |
Then it was church on Sunday morning.... |
Impressive, a plantation wedding. What a great setting for a wedding, the bride looked beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey say if it rains on your wedding day that it is good luck, It rained on my wedding also.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have it at a plantation - it looks beautiful even in the rain.
