A Sweet Cherry Apron

Look what I received in the mail yesterday, the cutest package!

I ordered an apron from Vintage Grey.... The wrapping was so cute I had to take pictures to show you.

Such a clever tag.

With a typed message on a doily...

And then the apron.... Isn't it so sweet? I don't think you can tell in the picture but this is a pale pink fabric. I love the contrast with the red.

And the cherries... I just love everything about them! If you haven't looked at her blog you should she has the most adorable handmade things.

I was out of town again for the last five days and now I am home...but only for two days and then I am gone again for a few days. This summer has been go go go....  I have accomplished a lot but I haven't really got to do the things I had planned with Levi. This weekend is scalloping. I know he will love that. He always does. Time is flying by.... The days seem so fleeting. I am now on Instagram amyjoleen76, if you would like to find me and follow me you can see what I am up to. Until the next time....

My North Carolina Finds and a Birthday Gift

Look at this set of beautiful vintage pink silver ware!! This was my birthday gift from my sister. I have wanted some of these for a very long time but every time I found them they were way to expensive...well imagine my surprise when I was in North Carolina and my sister put this on instagram with the message it was for me!!! Yay! I was so excited. Especially since everyone else forgot my birthday...including my husband. Yes these things happen. LOL

Don't worry ladies I treated myself to a few treasures.... One being this vintage tole tray that is now in my laundry room.

I have had these plates for a while but have never shown them to you. I got them for $3.00 each. Aren't they pretty?

Now this is my favorite find in North Carolina. I got it at a shop called High Cotton Consignment in Fayetteville. It is so pretty to me...I have already worn it a few times. I got a few other things but nothing note worthy. We had so much fun going around and finding treasures....it is always my favorite thing to do.... I have been up to other things too.... I will show these in my next post.

I'm Back....

We are back from North Carolina and have been busier than ever... I will tell you all about it later.

It was nice to visit Savanah and Kevin and see the area where they are living. They have a really nice house in a gated community.

We went to all of the area sites and also fit in some antiqueing along the way. Yay me!

This lake was very pretty.

Our family together again for a brief weekend. Frank only stayed two days and flew back home.

A little put-put.

Let's just say this is me being dramatic... I got a whole in one. Which was a total fluke... I am not good at this game. Not to mention it was 98 degrees outside so we were all very hot.

Bentley was so happy to see us.... He went home with Savanah a month prior and he was definitely missing us. We were so glad to see him too. He is so cute and sweet. I'll show you my treasures and some other things I have been up to soon.

Last Day of School Teacher Gift

Today was the last day of school....this year has flown so fast. I am happy to have summer stretching before us... There is so much we want to do.  We are going to North Carolina for 10 days to spend with Savanah.  We are setting up our little fishing place so that we will have it to spend summers. If the Lord is willing we definitely have much we want to do...

I found this idea on pinterest and decided it would be the sweetest gift for Levi's teacher. I am so grateful to her for her hard work and dedication to these children.

It is a little picket fence basket filled with all things strawberry. Candles, lotion, soap, strawberry gummies and more...

She loved it! So it was a complete success.... So what are you planning for summer?

The Fancy Flea Madison Florida

Well hello Ladies! I am back from my weekend at Heather's, and a fabulous time at the Fancy Flea!! We shopped and had such a good time.

This was a beautiful wedding display....unfortunately I took this before it began, so it wasn't completed yet.

They had a bike give away...we didn't win. But isn't it cute!

This flea was smaller than her normal show but we still found some great treasures.

This is Paris Rags dressing room.

treasures...

Paris Rags booth. I love her clothing.

Heather and I both got silver spoon bracelets from these ladies.

As you can see my cart was overflowing.... I did find a few good treasures. See the pink stool. I love it!  We bought t-shirts and she gave us bags.... I did pick up some things for a give away. I will share that with you in the next few days.... until then.

Hugs,
Amy Jo

Heather's Dining Room

I thought I would share another area of Heather's house with you today. This is her dining room. I think it is really pretty. I like the light with the dark.

I love this hornets nest she found. It is really cool. Along with the old chippy chair.

I thought this was a great centerpiece. Her husband loves to hunt so she has to incorporate that into the décor... Men hehe.

I am off today to stay at Heather's this weekend. We are planning a trip to the Fancy Flea tomorrow. It is in her town this time.... I will be looking for some give away goodies.  I can't wait to see what I find. Hopefully I will find something great to share with you!

Blessings and Love,
Amy Jo
