Cedar Side Laundry Room

Yay I can finally upload pictures!! I have tried every day and finally today I could do it!!!
I thought I would show you my laundry room that I redid and never got around to showing you. I was playing around with picmonkey a little bit too. So excuse some of the different borders... that app is so fun.

So back to the laundry room. I love how it turned out with the white bead board on the walls all the way to the ceiling.

I got this vintage tissue holder and I decided to use it in my laundry room as a dryer sheet keeper. It is very handy and cute too (wink).

My bookshelf filled with all of my supplies for soap making. As well as all of the little extra stain treatments and such. What do you think of the 1950's duck lamp? It is a favorite of mine.

On top of the freezer I have this old tole tray, a sweet little bucket and more supplies.

I love this Christy Repasy Painting. So cute for the laundry room.

My hat display I bought from Carol at the Polka Dot Closet with a favorite hat.

It is one of the rooms that we spend so much time in every day, I think it should be pretty and make you feel as happy as possible. Of course that means different things to different people. These things make me smile.
A very sweet vintage baby dress.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour of a room I spend a LOT of time in....

I am so glad to be back in the loop my dear blogging friends.

Until Next Time,
Amy Jo

Heather's Dining Room

I thought I would share another area of Heather's house with you today. This is her dining room. I think it is really pretty. I like the light with the dark.

I love this hornets nest she found. It is really cool. Along with the old chippy chair.

I thought this was a great centerpiece. Her husband loves to hunt so she has to incorporate that into the décor... Men hehe.

I am off today to stay at Heather's this weekend. We are planning a trip to the Fancy Flea tomorrow. It is in her town this time.... I will be looking for some give away goodies.  I can't wait to see what I find. Hopefully I will find something great to share with you!

Blessings and Love,
Amy Jo

Sweet Trinkets

It has been raining and tornado warnings have been issued today...So it is just a day to hang out inside. I found this Josef Original named Nannette at an Antique store last weekend. I have never seen one like it...I thought she was so pretty.

I told my Mom that I liked these salt and pepper shakers and she gave them to me. They are so cute aren't they?

They look so cute on our mantle. Thanks Mom!  I have had  some beautiful things given to  me and I am going to share those with you soon. I hope you are having a good weekend....Until next time...

A Christmas Cottage Tour

Today I would like to take you on a Christmas cottage tour.... this is my cousin-in-law's house. Valerie. She literally lives in Christmas, Florida.  She has an adorable little cottage home.
So please, come on into the entry.
She has a nativity like mine and this is what you see upon entering.
This picture does not do her tree justice. It is absolutely beautiful in person.
It is loaded with ornaments all perfectly arranged. She spent four hours putting the ornaments on the tree.

As you can tell one of her favorite colors is blue.

I love the angels and churches all over the tree.

The ornament she bought last year.

Her living room is adorable. I love the blue, green and pink together.

Come on in and have a seat. So cottagey and cute!
This is the dining area. The dining set was her grandmothers. This is the only dining set Valerie has ever had. She has been married over 25 years.

This is the kitchen. She wants to remodel it soon.... but I think it is cute the way it is.
Her grandmothers dishes. They  are so pretty.

The scale of this furniture is perfect for her house.

This is a beautiful chalkware lamp from the 50's.

I hope you liked the little tour of Valerie's Christmas cottage.... I know I always enjoy visiting her there...until next time.
