My Flea Market Cart Makeover

My Mom bought me this flea market cart for my birthday a few years back.... It has been a life saver  many times, as I have flea marketed and went to home school conventions.

It was totally functional.... this was the vinyl liner that came with it. But I saw a few cart liners on blogs and.....my wheels started turning.

So one thing led to another.... I had left over fabric from the dining room chairs and the bright idea of sewing a cart liner. Then I couldn't be satisfied with that either. So a few spray paint cans later.... and you see the results. I still have a little work to do. Painting. I am not completely finished. every time I think I'm done there is more spots that don't look right.

But I LOVE the liner.... It fits perfectly!

I lined the inside with a raspberry gingham and added a huge pocket. This will be to hold my wallet, cell phone, and keys. That will make life so much easier. I hate trying to keep up with my purse all day.

 I have been working on this project for two days. The liner was pretty smooth sailing. The painting of these tiny wires, not so much. But tomorrow is another day...... a new challenge.... and hopefully it looks good when I am finished. So what are you doing this weekend?
