I have been picking up vintage sheets for years and I love to make sets out of mis matches. This is a yellow set I have put together... |
I love yellow it is such a bright and happy color. And you know I love roses :) |
I love that on the top it says.... Jam 8/5/58....So it was definitely used for someone's fresh canned jam. Oooh vintage goodness. xoxo, Amy Jo Blessi |
Congratulations on winning the wonderful giveaway. Those vintage sheets are divine and I love those mason jars 1958 was the year I was born so that made me smile.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Easter.
I enjoyed your post! I'm like you and love old vintage sheets. They're usually the softest too. Enjoyed seeing the giveaway and the pretty swan picture, and the jars. The date really adds to the novelty! Have a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteVery nice post. Love the sheet set you assembled. Great idea! Love your idea for the Ball jars too. You prob'ly know this but there is a chart that shows you how to date your jars by the shape of the word BALL on the jar. Easily found chart - Google- able. Happy SYC! Happy Easter!

Wow! I used to have those exact sheets! Back in the 70s! What a great find and they still look so pretty. Don't you wish they would make new sheets in more florals and patterns? I love your sweet giveaway win and the beautiful print, too! It's fun getting fun packages in the mail! Enjoy your evening my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteVintage goodness indeed Amy Jo! The beach scene in the jar will be darling. I love the cast iron basket with blooms also. Putting mismatched sheet sets together is a genius idea, love it! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
