"Loveliest of lovely things are they
On earth that soonest pass away.
The rose that lives its little hour
Is prized beyond the sculptured flower."
--William Cullen Bryant
I thought this little poem was beautiful... this is a gardenia and a little rose from my front flower bed.

Both the poem and flowers are beautiful… The simple sweet pictures of creation :) and I am sure they smell heavenly!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty--my roses are blooming and I am enjoying them so much. I killed my Gardenia :(
ReplyDeleteOh, what a wonderful season, to bring gardenias and their fragrance inside. There's almost nothing left with fragrance in our gardens now. Enjoy your spring. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful rose - roses are such a weakness of mine :) I can almost smell the lovely fragrance from here. While visiting a friend on her blog I saw your icon, clicked it and here I am. You have a wonderful blog and I am now happily following along. I look forward to future visits.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week.
Hugs,
Stephanie
