| I found this dress last weekend at Goodwill, it reminds me of a depression era school dress. I tried it on and it was so cute except it was to short so.....I thought I could lengthen it. |

| So I took an old sheet that had holes in it and used it to lengthen it. |

| I am real happy with how this dress turned out. You could do this with any skirt or dress you have. It is a great way to extend the wear out of your girls dresses. You could get real creative and use contrasting fabrics for a whole new look. Next time your shopping don't let the length worry you, if you love it buy it and alter it. |
Great idea, Amy Jo! I do the same thing with my girls' skirts that are too short - except for theirs, I just add a ruffle. :) Thanks for sharing!
