Granny and Grandpa's Cottage

This was my Granny and Grandpa's cottage.... Isn't it so cute? They have both passed on and now this belongs to my parents. They have decided to sell the little cottage.

I have a slight addiction to houses... I would love, love, love to be a real estate agent. The only problem is I would always want to buy and never want to sell. LOL That goes for granny's cottage as well. I have tried to convince everyone in the family how wonderful there life would be if only they would buy the little cottage. :) I would love for it to stay in the family. This is what you see as you pull up to the cottage.

Darling little thing! Couldn't you just see an arbor covered in flowers and the perfect little cottage garden surrounding this?
The property is really pretty.
It backs up to acres and acres of woods....
Side view.
Little wildflowers blowing in the breeze.
The bedrooms are smaller, after all it is a storybook cottage...
This was Granny's bedroom.
The bathroom.
Eat in Kitchen. I would paint the cabinets white and the walls yellow. I would have to do a toss up between pink or red for the accents. (pink would probably win hehe)
The living room is really large for the square footage of this home... It would be perfect for a couple....Simple and sweet.
The other half of the living room. My grandparents had this table in here. They would always sit at the table, watch tv and drink coffee. So many memories... years have passed and all that is left is the echo in our hearts.... and a little cottage on the edge of the woods.

Blessings,
Amy Jo

  1. Amy Jo: Sweet little cottage. My grandparents ranch has long been sold off and a plant nursery is now there. But one of these days I want to go there again and see if anything is like it was. Thanks for reminding me..Happy Tuesday..Judy

  2. Judy,

Isn't it so sad how that happens, one day it is a happy home and the next it is a business. As goes the world.....I hope you do get to go back. Sometimes it is so nice to do that. Thanks for stopping in. :)
