Bountiful Blessings

I feel very blessed!  I have received so many wonderful gifts lately.... I won a give away over at Junk Chic Cottage. She was having her second blog anniversary. This is my 1st time ever winning a blog give away...So I was super excited. This is what I got. Note cards, pen, and the cutest air freshener. Thank you Kris!

Also back in December Kim over at Imagery by Kimberly gave away, to anyone who wanted one, a beautiful matted print of one of her swan photographs... I got one. Her photography is beautiful and peaceful. If you haven't been to her blog you should check it out.  Thank you Kim!

I have been picking up vintage sheets for years and I love to make sets out of mis matches. This is a yellow set I have put together...

I love yellow it is such a bright and happy color. And you know I love roses :)

Lastly I wanted to share these beautiful old Ball jars that are so popular right now.... My dear friend (more like family) Judy, gave these to me. They are old...and I really love them. Thank you Judy! I plan on putting sand in one and old photographs of beach goers. I saw the idea in an antique store. It was darling.

I love that on the top it says.... Jam 8/5/58....So it was definitely used for someone's  fresh canned jam.  Oooh vintage goodness.

xoxo,
Amy Jo

  2. I enjoyed your post! I'm like you and love old vintage sheets. They're usually the softest too. Enjoyed seeing the giveaway and the pretty swan picture, and the jars. The date really adds to the novelty! Have a wonderful Easter.

  3. Very nice post. Love the sheet set you assembled. Great idea! Love your idea for the Ball jars too. You prob'ly know this but there is a chart that shows you how to date your jars by the shape of the word BALL on the jar. Easily found chart - Google- able. Happy SYC! Happy Easter!

  8. Wow! I used to have those exact sheets! Back in the 70s! What a great find and they still look so pretty. Don't you wish they would make new sheets in more florals and patterns? I love your sweet giveaway win and the beautiful print, too! It's fun getting fun packages in the mail! Enjoy your evening my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane
