Cheers to the Weekend

 

Good morning! I wanted to share this beautiful card my mom sent in the mail. It came after my last post. 

 

My flowers are holding up pretty well. Though the hydrangeas didn't hardly last two days.

 

Isn't this a sweet necklace? It's from oh honey hush on Etsy. She sells a lot of different things. Like head scarfs and jewelry all with a vintage vibe. You can also find her on Instagram.

 I'm so glad the weekend is here. My husband has been working 14 and 15 hours a day and the weekends are sacred right now. 

 

Maybe we can sleep until 7 instead of 4:30. It sounds wonderful anyway. And I know he's exhausted and needs the rest.  So how is everyone else doing? Are you excited for the weekend? Do you have wonderful plans?

Pink Heaven

 

Last week was my birthday.... Another year gone. My husband's cousin took me to lunch and we stopped at a few thrift stores. I couldn't believe my luck. I entered pink dish heaven💕 

 

I found so many beautiful pink dishes. I'm totally in love with them. I'm guessing someone either passed away and they had a lot of pink or someone grew tired of them. But I got a whole set of these plates, salad plates and butter plates. No bowls but I will keep my eyes open.

 

I couldn't leave them behind! I was so happy. A little birthday blessing.

 

My daughter also went with me to the consignment shop on my birthday. We weren't as successful there. But it was fun.

 

In other news the house is in the last stages! I'm hoping by next week to be finished! 

 

My husband started on the door knob installation.

 

And half of the appliances were delivered! Yes I really bought pink appliances! I never grow tired of the color. While others are changing everything and getting rid of there pink I'm only loving it more.
