A Collector's Kitchen

Last weekend I went to my friend Heather's house in North Florida. She moved here a few years back. I showed her last home in a previous post. Today I thought I would show her "new kitchen". She painted her cabinets and put new doors on as she said they were in terrible shape when they purchased the property.

As you can see she loves to collect.

This home is smaller than her last and she is always trying to figure out storage options. This is her coffee bar.

I love all the kitsch collectibles she has.

I bought her this little apple bowl for her birthday with the little apples. Fits right in with her stuff.

She loves Pyrex and old kitchen utensils.

Give us this day our daily bread...

This is so cute to me...

I hope you enjoyed the tour of Heather's kitchen... Thank you Heather for letting me share your home with everyone... I will post more of her home soon.

I have been busy with a sick child for the last 8 days. I believe he has turned a corner today and is on the road to recovery.

Blessings to you,
Amy Jo

On a more serious note, hope the child gets better soon. Have a great weekend.

  6. I sure hope your sick one feels better soon! And oh how I love this kitchen. It looks very much like mine...I have white cabinets and black counter tops. I wanted to do something nautical above my cabinets but have never found anything to put up there. I may want to change my direction and put vintage things up there. They are more fun to find! Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Diane
