The Wedding

It has been a while.... I have been so busy.  So here are a few pictures from the day. I have tons more but I am going to wait and share the professional pictures. This was getting ready.

This is me and my friend Brandy. She made the cake. We have been friends for 30 years. The cake tasted so good!  The day went very well. Of course their are always the little things that go wrong...but all in all we had a wonderful time. When the photographer gets the pictures back I will share some more with you.....

The Wedding Set Up



Well the big day came! It blew by so fast.... once it got here.

Today I will show you some of the pre wedding pictures. We did all of the set up our selves.. I had so many helping hands... My friend Heather came and stayed the night and helped me with everything. My Mom and Sister were a big help as well. My Mother in law, brother in law, Valerie, Husband, Brad, (heather's husband) and my Dad all came out to help with set up.

The Altar.... Savanah's boss Miss Earline did the altar and she did a fantastic job.

 

It was beautiful.

 

So many people put in time and money to help with this special event.... I would like to Thank each and every one of you.... It just wouldn't have been able to happen with out  all of your help. I will post more pictures soon.... Of the actual event.

Tiny Update on the Wedding

I'm just popping in to say Hi and let everyone know we are up to our eyeballs with work.... I have had a few panic attacks LOL but I am praying and trying to keep cool. Kevin surprised us this morning and arrived first thing. He drove all night to get here. He was afraid he would get snowed in because they are saying it is going to be another bad storm.

Two more days and then the BIG Day!! I can not believe it... I will be back with pictures soon. If you remember say a prayer for me.

A Mothers Reverie

We are officially one week away from Savanah being married! Today I am feeling sad about that and I am sure that is normal..... but all of a sudden it feels like time has slipped away.... My child is officially grown and things are about to change in a big way. 

There will be no more waking up and checking on her to make sure she is in her bed where she is supposed to be. (Yes I still do that)  Because she will be moving 12 or more hours away there won't even be weekly visits with her. I'm sure there will be many phone conversations but truly, it just will never be the same... and today my heart is breaking...
