My Aunt Teresa makes fairy cages and she gave me this beautiful cage a week or so back.
She does such a beautiful job with these creations.
The fairys are very life like.
This is a mother daughter fairy cage.
These cages are loaded with beautiful details. It is hard to get inside and take good pictures. This is a little treasure chest.... I love this cage.... Thank you Aunt Teresa!
I found this beautiful apron on ebay.
It has the most lovely trim work on it. It is vintage.
Top
| This is the pocket. It is made by paper white.... This was one of those aprons I thought I couldn't live without...Does any one know who paper white is?

I think the fairy cages are just adorable!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I did a little bit of digging online and I did find a couple more aprons in similar styles to yours under the Paper White brand. Most of them seem to be from the early 1980s. But beyond that, I haven't been able to find much more about it. Now my interest is piqued!! Your apron is lovely. ~~
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mrs. V.! Now I at least know about when it was made.

Oh boy, what a beautiful apron! What are you going to do with it? Display it somehow? I do not know about paper white. Are you sure that is the brand name? At anyrate, you did find a beauty! Love the fairy cage. Your aunt is very talented!
